"Patrick was instrumental to Revio's growth during his tenure as our VP of Marketing. He put the structures in place to ramp demand from inbound and events, led co-marketing with key partners, and added new specialized functions to our team that sourced revenue at scale. He was also a poised leader and public representative of the company in our ecosystem. For companies that want to reach their next stage of marketing-powered growth, I highly recommend working with Patrick."
I developed a 10-step framework for marketing strategy that is applicable across nearly all industries. It combines strategy, branding, demand generation, sales partnership, customer marketing, and operations in an easy to understand and execute way for my clients. This strategy enables marketing that creates true revenue strategies for my clients.
When I joined Revio as their first VP of Marketing in June 2019, the marketing function was a tactical support arm rolled up under Sales. The team maintained the website, prepared event materials, and handled direct mail, but had no strategic role in driving pipeline or revenue.
Revio had a superior product and strong outbound sales organization, but the company wasn't separating itself from competitors despite a premium price point. Leadership recognized the need for "air cover"—a real marketing engine that could generate organic and paid inbound pipeline to complement the outbound sales motion.
Rather than simply "turning up" marketing tactics, I built a structured demand generation system around four distinct sources of revenue: inbound, events, referrals, and outbound support.
Please see the attached case study file and success metrics field below for details.
- Revio: 3.5x revenue growth in 5 years with 75% of new business influenced by marketing; sourced up to 600 sales opportunities per year via marketing; incorporated three new companies via acquisition into portfolio.

- Halyard Health: Leveled off sales loss in $70M (commoditized) product category.

Supported marketing for Revio's capital raise in 2020, and then incorporated brands and new team members into the organization from three different acquisitions.
